What We Do
We are enthusiastic about projects which have extraordinary outcomes.
LUCY MARCZYK delivers high quality Interiors which are thoughtful, considered, and human centred - focusing on people who inhabit them. The studio works on all project budgets ranging from boot strap through to haute couture and always responds to the client and their objectives and agenda.
The core of our Design studios work is interior design and we are also enthusiastic to discuss collaborations and design projects outside of this category.
We offer design services across all segments and project scales including single and multi-residential developments, office, retail, hospitality, home renovations, full house new builds as well as unique installations and concepts. The services we provide includes space planning, interior design, finishes, fixture & fittings selections, bathroom and kitchen design, furniture selection, artwork consultancy and collection curation, styling and decorating, photoshoots for editorial, product design and colour consultancy. We are flexible in our service, offering services from concept design only, to full documentation and facilitating project construction and assembling teams. The service is always tailored to the client and project.
We love working on people’s home environments, new homes, holiday homes, apartments, penthouses, renovations, or rental properties.
Some noteworthy projects in Lucy’s work history include working in the Hamptons New York on a holiday summer/winter weekender for Nexus, and a private residence on St. Georges Road Toorak, which is notably Australia’s most expensive single residential property which was delivered by Bruce Henderson Architects.
We understand multi-residential developments and how our extensive experience in the single residential field benefits these. Lucy has experience in numerous developments from 6 townhouses to towers of 280 apartments.
LUCY MARCZYK loves developments and working with clients to establish teams and collaborators and creating exciting design narratives that develop branding concepts tailored for each project.
We are enthusiastic about commercial offices.
Lucy has worked on the Concept Design and project delivery for a 10,000 sqm 5 story new build for Harold Mitchell's Emerald House in Melbourne whilst with Bruce Henderson Architects, Executive offices for Bobby Zagames Automotive HQ as Lead Designer at Nexus Designs, and Thinkerbell office which is shortlisted for the 2020 Australian Interior design Awards for Cera Stribley.
Retail, Hospitality, Vessels and Yachts
We love the retail, hospitality and hotel sectors. We have a passion for travel and have experience in working in the hospitality industry, and designing within the industry. Lucy worked on the MV Sorrento (700 passenger ferry), The Robert Bruce (100 foot private vessel). Most famously Lucy worked with Rolls-Royce Motor Cars and Zagame Automotive group on their luxury retail showroom and ‘Monolab’ a Japanese retail concept store which received extensive publicity for Nexus Designs.
LUCY MARCZYK interiors have a timeless quality that look beyond trends. We value colour, space, volume, light and construction. Biophilic design philosophies guide material selection and space planning. Through understanding people, we create environments that make them feel comfortable, and one that enhances daily life.
